Ritter Grounds Maintenance, Inc., headquartered in Norfolk, Virginia, is a family-owned landscape design, landscape architecture, and lawn care maintenance company. We have proudly served the Tidewater and Hampton Roads areas since 1990.

Licensing, Insurance, and Certificates

Ritter Grounds Maintenance, Inc. is fully state licensed and insured. An insurance certificate can be forwarded to you at your request. We also have a State Business Pesticide license and a State Fertilizer Application license (as required by law).

Quality Employees & Equipment

We promote a drug-free workplace with pre-employment, and random, drug screenings. We aim to give you peace of mind about the people working on your property.

In addition, all of our trucks, trailers, and equipment are properly maintained and routinely tested for top performance and job safety. In an effort to handle any specific requests in a timely manner, our crew leaders encourage feedback from both clients and workers while on the job site.

Our Owner

Tom Ritter, owner and landscape architect, is hands-on when it comes to scheduling work and corresponding with all crews, across multiple job sites, on a daily bases. He is credentials are as follows:
